In 2024, we planted 42 new trees in Mount Pleasant Road.

We are now going to plant 14 new trees, and replace two trees that did not do well.

​

The beds will cover the width of three paving slabs. Each will be filled with half a ton of high-quality topsoil so as to encourage even better root formation. This will ensure the new trees are more likely to thrive for many years to come. As well as providing space for shrubs and flowers.

Brent is covering the cost of digging, filling and planting. We’re the ones funding the trees and plants.

• 2 Albizia Julibrissin Ombrella (nos 48 & 71)

• 2 Carpinus Betulus Fastigiata (nos 53 & 64)

• 2 Catalpa Bignoides Aurea (nos 34 & 51)

• 4 Liquidambar Styraciflua Worplesdon (nos 33, 56, & 63 & 92)

• 1 Malus Floribunda (no. 63)

• 1 Sorbus Arnoldiana Schouten (no. 101)
